Called to the Quebec Bar in 2003, Me Laforest’s practice focuses primarily on Business Law. He has also developed particular expertise in Construction Law and represents the interests of businesses specialized in industrial and commercial construction.

A socially involved person, Me Laforest served on the Board of Directors of the CLD de Québec (Québec Local Development Center) from 2007 to 2009, was president of the Réseau des micro-entreprises et travailleurs autonomes de Québec et de Lévis (META Québec-Lévis) from 2007 to 2009, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors as president, and is also president of the Coalition des travailleuses et travailleurs autonomes du Québec (CTTAQ).
